However in order to see your dreams come true, you need one essential ingredient and it’s one, no one else can give you.

It’s Self Belief

Your ability to back yourself, and push through any obstacle, any challenge and any roadblock you may face.

I know you’ve got big dreams, big plans and you’re ready to make it happen.

However, working with women in business, I’ve said many times that mindset is the biggest challenge, and it comes with a lack of self belief.

There has been many times in my life where a lack of self belief has tried to sneak in and take me out.  Plenty of times actually.

But over the years through loads and loads of practice I have managed to overcome many fears that would otherwise leave me terrified and unable to move forward.

And you can too. Once of my favourite quotes is you can have reasons or results, but you can’t have both.

Here some tips that have helped me overcome fear of failure, lack of self belief and feeling a little stuck….. so you can fly !

1. There is no such thing as failure. There’s only feedback.

“Failure” is only  a perception and can be used to provide you with critical insights to adjust your strategy to discover a better way forward.

It really is as simple as how you choose to look at it.

Failure is negative. Feedback is positive.  Choosing to look at anything you have tried that didn’t turn out so well as FEEDBACK , is your dream opportunity to learn what did work and also what didn’t so that you can do it better next time. – Winning !

Plus you haven’t given her a solid reason for wanting to choose you, so she’s probably checking out your competitors.

Instead placing an optin box to capture a brides name and email so that you can send her helpful tips and tricks about your service, will be sure to win her over.

3. Process – And this leads me to processes and systems. Once you can develop some simple and easy systems in your business you can free up your time. MASSIVELY :)

Putting systems in place means you are not having to repeat the same old tasks or answer the same old questions over and over again and you can spend more time marketing your business instead of  in constant action of minor tasks.

The main system to create is your system for attracting and converting brides, and then a system around your “booked brides” to ensure they are receiving a premium experience from you too.

Often the brides are booked months and months out from their wedding and there is no contact until right before the big day, brides LOVE it when you stay in touch and keep them informed.

 The Leads I Have Received Are Borderline Insane !

I really can’t put into words what you have done for me.

I have had so many ideas for my brand and my business that it had become overwhelming.

My Lessons From Oprah

An Evening With Oprah In Sydney

Do you LOVE Oprah?  I do and have for a long time. Oprah is the person I am most inspired by, so when I discovered that she was coming to Sydney, I jumped at the chance to go.

Screen Shot 2015-12-14 at 11.30.26 amIt was everything I imagined and more. Goosebumps material. The stadium of women ( and some men ) was silent, with everyone glued to her every word for 90 minutes.

She told her life story and attributes her success to always knowing who she was  and believing in herself.

Oprah reminded us that we ALL have the power to live our biggest and fullest life and are able to positively effect the lives of others.

Once you accept, understand and honour that you co – create our lives with the universe you will be able to access the life that is waiting for you. The life you were born to live. The life that you truly desire.

It’s all waiting for you, right now.

Once of my favourite take- aways from the night was to live with full intension. To make decisions with absolute clarity of your intension for yourself and the intension for others.

Also she reminded us that everything that either is happening now or has happened to you, has happened FOR you. Even in your darkest times, you are building your strength, and building your strength, and building your strength. This will all add up to give you your POWER.

Oprah also spoke about being responsible for your energy, and the energy you share with others. Be aware of your vibrations, because they are leading to what is showing up in your life. Raise your vibrations, be grateful for everything you have now and what you truly want, will be on it’s way.

We are all called to this earth for a reason, and its for you to do the “thing” that lights you up. The “thing” that you do so well, and with ease, the “thing” that makes you happy and to do it well.

I am a firm believer in the law of attraction and that our life is a reflection of our thoughts and actions. Every single decision we make, leads to an outcome in our lives.

Does Your Environment Support You ?

I know you LOVE your wedding business, but how much do you love where you actually do the majority of your work?

It doesn’t matter if you have a studio, a home office, a spare bedroom set up OR you work at the dining room table.

What matters, is that you are set up for success.

I don’t know about you, but sitting down to work on my business surrounded in mess leads to procrastination.

I just can’t be effective or concentrate !

I find when I have a clean, organised, inviting office…. I have to be dragged out of there at the end of the day.  I’m pumped, ready to rock and get stuff done !!

Today I’m sharing my top 5 tips for creating an environment that supports you.

These days I am lucky to have a beautiful big home office complete with a chandelier, french doors, big benches and a view of my front garden.

I did, however  I did work from my dining room table or my kitchen bench before hand, so I know what that’s like too.

No matter where you work,  do the best you can to create a workable environment.

1. Clean that mess up !

Start by creating a clean work area by organising all of your paperwork.

File your quotes, invoices, receipts, booked brides etc in separate draws or folders so they’re easy to find when you need them.

I love the folders and magazine holders that KiKi K sell ( gorgeous colours and heavy duty )

2. Delightful Scents & Funky Tunes

Work time doesn’t have to be a chore. It’ your time to let your new ideas flow, cross off that “to do” list and of course generate leads and book brides.

In my office I choose to burn uplifting aromatherapy in my huge oil burner.  Scents of lemongrass and orange fill the space around me and keep me energised throughout the day.

It just about breaks my heart to see so many women struggle with their inner darkness, before stepping into their light.
